S&P Global Commodity Insights

Ying Li is the Mine Economics Analyst in the Mine Economics team of S&P Global Commodity Insights, where she is responsible for building operating, financial, and valuation models for numerous operations globally, covering a wide range of commodities including copper, gold and nickel.

Ying has previously worked in strategy and business development at CMOC Group Ltd. In this role, she was involved in writing company and industry analyses and analyzing the impact of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions.

Ying holds an MSc in Global management of natural resources from the University College London; an MSc in Finance and Investment from the Queen Marry University of London; a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Edinburgh.
