Kemal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering with honors from the University of Calgary, Canada. He began his career with Aurora Minerals Group in 2017, initially as an exploration geologist and later as a lead technical specialist. During this time, he contributed to airborne geophysics and drilling projects across Kazakhstan.
In 2019, Kemal was appointed Vice President of Innovations at Aurora Geophysics Ltd. From 2022 to the end of 2023, he served as Director of Aurora Geophysics Ltd, the geophysical division of Aurora Minerals Group.
In January 2024, he joined Xcalibur Smart Mapping, a leading global airborne geophysics company, as Chief Operating Officer of its Kazakhstan subsidiary, Xcalibur Kazakhstan Limited.
