Albert is the Managing Director of Wescott Hill Capital, an international IPO and corporate development advisory firm. Albert has 25 year experience in capital markets and is an experienced Board Member and listed company Chairman having been an independent Chairman of two businesses listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Albert graduated with a degree in Mining Engineering from the Moscow State Mining University in 1994 and an MBA from London Business School in 2000.Albert started his career as a management consultant with the Natural Resources practice of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in London in 1995 and joined Deutsche Bank in London as an investment banker in 1999.

Following a 10 year investment banking career with a focus on capital markets and M&A, Albert joined the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as Head of International Listings, where he oversaw over 25 company listings in New York. After the NYSE was acquired by the Intercontinental Exchange, Albert joined Euronext as Head of International Listings, where he oversaw over 40 international listings in Amsterdam, London and Paris.

After working for 5 years as a Head of Capital Markets at an investment and fund manager with ~€2bn of assets under management in real estate, shipping and aviation, Albert started his own advisory business, Westcott Hill Capital, with a focus on corporate development, IPOs, investments, financing and international listings. In addition, Albert is a highly experienced Board Member and listed company Chairman having been an independent Chairman of two businesses listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
