Liubov Egorova has got about 20 years of experience in the field of exploration, resource evaluation, preparation of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies. Before joining NGMK Liubov worked in mining consultancy at different positions. In NGMK Liubov is responsible for JORC Mineral resourcesestimation, preparation and implementation of prospecting and exploration programs.
Determination of the optimum prospecting complex for the covered area of Western Uzbekistan
The largest metal deposits in western Uzbekistan are associated with Paleozoic basement rocks. At the same time, approximately 75% of Uzbekistan's territory is covered by Meso-Cenozoic sediments. Geological exploration in previous years was primarily focused on areas where Paleozoic rocks are exposed, while the covered territories have remained relatively poorly studied. Selecting the optimal set of exploration methods for such areas is a highly relevant challenge. Over the past year, NMMC (Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company) has conducted pilot studies aimed at identifying the most effective techniques that can be used in the implementation of geological exploration programs.
