TMK

We are pleased to greet you on behalf of our company! Allow us to briefly introduce our operations.
Today, the demand for rare metals in industries like electric vehicles, green energy, and power production is growing globally. Additionally, the prices for molybdenum, tellurium, selenium, and graphite are significantly rising.
Uzbekistan has extensive reserves of minerals essential for industry. If we can develop and organize production around these resources, it will not only meet domestic needs but also support exports and strengthen our position in high-tech markets.
For this purpose, the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (UZTMK) was established, encompassing multiple sectors.
What are these sectors?
Soon, we plan to implement 8 investment projects in different regions of our country, including the industrial development of lithium, graphite, copper, tantalum, and niobium deposits, as well as projects for the extraction of nickel, cobalt, chromium, and magnesium resources in promising areas.
Furthermore, the complex produces high-quality products with substantial added value. Chains for advanced processing of lithium, tungsten, molybdenum, and other vital minerals have been established, with strategies for the fundamental development of the powder metallurgy industry by 2030.
We are also committed to training qualified personnel. The complex collaborates with leading local and international higher education institutions and organizations in this field. For instance, 250 specialists will be trained at the University of Geological Sciences, MISiS Institute, and Navoi State Mining and Technology University. In addition, UZTMK will host internships for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students. Professors and researchers from universities continually enhance their skills at our enterprise.
By leveraging scientific and technological advancements, we are introducing innovative technologies in production. For this purpose, a modern laboratory and a pilot-scale hydrometallurgical workshop for tungsten and molybdenum production were launched within the complex. A project office was also opened, focusing on commercialization and the introduction of innovative technologies.
